But so far, I haven't seen anything like that, and my fears of the system backfiring were proven correct, as shown by this post. Once I see the change that increases the QUALITY, not the amount of FUN players have while climbing in ranked, I might change my opinions. the only positive is that players have more fun, a subjective factor which should NEVER influence the competitive side of this game it damages returning players (and MAYBE players who're on a larger winstreaks) across the most of the ranked ladder players which should be affected by smurfs the most (plat-dia) are still climbing (or deranking) the same speed as they used to (if smurfs really affected players in that regard we would already see player's elos skyrocketing) ![]() this system does not affect the majority of the playerbase (iron-gold) I simply pointed out that smurfs in low elo are extremely rare.Īs for my criticism, i already explained it in other comments, but I'll make a lil tl dr here aswell: ![]()
